More details: In this run, I'm not using SDC (Saber Dash Cancel) and instead am using other cancel techniques, such as crouch and jump cancels. It's very similar to SDC, just that it requires more finger work with the D-pad and is more technical than SDC. Intro Stage Overview:

Well, we're going back old school with these descriptions, folks. I'm talkin' 2015 old where these things were like friggin' essays, hahaha. But I won't go on a super long tangent like I used to.

The intro stage, while straight-forward, is actually one of the most frantic opening stages in the X series in my opinion (X7 takes the cake, though for all the wrong reasons...). The vehicle mechaniloids have a fair bit of RNG about them. Their retractable spike wheels start from the top or bottom based on pure randomness. You could approach one and have it's top wheel release, then reset the game (or even a save state!), make it to the thing and it's right wheel comes out instead. The green ones are the worst because the RNG can even not let the thing attack at all. So each time you approach these things, you have no idea what they'll do. Easy fix is to just dash jump over them with near-frame perfect timing. This is actually recommended in Grizzly's stage where these things are littered in there, as it reduces your enemy kill count (which, unlike the Zero series, X5 discourages you from killing too many enemies if you want the highest rank).

Other than that, rest of the obstacles are self-explanatory and just require good timing while maintaining constant speed.
