Mega Man X5 (Zero) PSX, No Damage challenge/speedrun of Izzy Glow's stage on Xtreme Mode. In this playthrough, I achieve the MMH/MEH rank in the end.

More details: In this no damage run, I'm not using Zero's SDC (Saber Dash Cancel) and instead am using other cancel techniques, such as crouch and jump cancels. It's very similar to SDC, just that it requires more finger work with the D-pad and is more technical than SDC. Stage Overview:

Here's an example of a stage that gets ruined by the ranking system. Sure, if you just don't care about MMH, then this won't be an issue, but why in the actually heck there's so many enemies when you're supposed to "avoid" a lot of them for the full rank points? It's nowhere near as bad as Duff McWhalen's, but Izzy Glow's stage can be a bit stress as is. So, it's REALLY easy to kill over 40 enemies here. Best way I figured out was to F-Splasher through the top of the ceiling spikes so you can maneuver above that big crowd of Mettaurs and shield guys. The rest of the stage is pretty much congested as I don't know what. The platforming the made weird one here, as it's worse than Squid Adler in the sense that platforming is all over the place, and you hardly get moments where you're going just straight ahead. The stair segment does that, but eh.

Twin Dream is, again, one of the best weapons here. Regardless of the enemy count, you still need to go pretty fast for the rank. It can be a tough stage if your timing is pretty bad with the platforming.

Izzy Glow Overview:

Not really anything to say about him. Only thing to watch out for against Izzy Glow is to make sure you react to his teleports on time. I can't count how many times he'd just re-appear directly on top of me, so as non-engaging as this fight is, it's got a small amount of BS to it.
