Mega Man X6 [XTREME]: Easiest Path to 100% - Part 25 - Defeating Sigma
As I said in my previous video, this is a real cakewalk for Zero. Since he's basically the game's best boss-killer, this stage rolling up all of the original bosses plus both Sigma forms really doesn't give him any trouble at all. This was actually my first attempt of this segment, and it's completely deathless even without using any healing tanks.
0:29 I don't know what happened here. It's like the devs suddenly ran out of the energy to make the game from pure, raw hatred. You'd really expect an area with spikes on the walls like this to be hard, but instead it's really not even inconvenient.
0:50 Commander Yammar. I'm sure there's something Yammar can do to put up a decent fight but... if so, I sure don't remember it. Keep in mind that if you were willing to put in the time to farm Dynamo for 9999 souls, you could have Saber Plus here to make this segment even more absurdly easy.
1:45 Good on Blaze Heatnix for actually putting up a fight this time!
3:19 I can't say the same for Ground Scaravich.
4:22 I honestly don't even know the right way to fight Blizzard Wolfang anymore. I always get to him so late as Zero that he's just a pushover.
5:13 Metal Shark Player can be a little more annoying that some of the bosses, but he also has such short iframes against Z-Buster.
6:26 Shield Sheldon is another boss I don't really remember optimal Zero strats for, but this time for the opposite reason. It's because I normally fight him so early and rely purely on RNG. I think the Z-Saber is actually still superior to the Z-Buster in this particular instance.
7:35 Infinity Mijinion can always make a nuisance of himself, even when deploying good speedrun strats (which I'm not).
8:59 D-Barrier really makes the Rainy Turtloid fight a lot easier, since you can just ignore defense and focus solely on spamming Z-Buster and kill him in a single cycle. Don't forget you can always go for his big toe for an even faster kill.
12:34 I show that just by killing the entire gallery, I've also filled my E-Tanks. This is such an absurdly easy stage in every possible way... I don't get you, X6.
10:37 In the tradition of Sigma's first form having cool nicknames, such as Jedi Sigma (X1), Wolverine Sigma (X2), Captain America Sigma (X3), Grim Reaper Sigma (X4), here we have... Hobo Sigma.
As you can see, he puts up a fight worthy of his title. This is actually pretty much the speedrun strat for him and works more often than not.
11:30 This form of Sigma is a bit more dangerous and can accidentally kill you from time to time. He does hit quite hard from incidental contact. But even if so, your punishment is just having to fight the first form again, so...
11:51 Once he finally opens his mouth, you'll see that Guard Shell is still paying dividends. Killed in a single cycle without any real effort. As promised, this stage was mere formality.
