A simple walkthrough of Mega Man X8 featuring the Dynasty level, which is unique in a way that the boss is the only enemy in this stage. As one of the two Ride Chaser sequences in the game, the mission here is to stop Gigabolt Man-O-War (Gigabolt Dokragen in Japan) from rampaging in the city. The trick here is to keep him on your sights by boosting to get close for a clean shot. Get the fuels on the way in order for the hunters to use the Ride Chaser's boost function. Once you have dealt significant damage to the boss, he will engage you for a final battle.

Gigabolt Man-O-War is not much of a threat. Just be careful not to fall of the edges. His weaknesses are Crystal Wall (X), Rekkyoudan (Zero), and Bound Blaster (Axl). Defeating him will give you Thunder Dancer (X), Raikousen (Zero), and Plasma Gun (Axl).
