Megaman DOS Remake Playthrough Part 8: Deep within the beast
Back with more DOS Remake! This time we're going through CRORQ Fortress stage 3 and 4, and they arent really too bad. Stage 3 has some spikes here and there but they arent too bad. Probably one of the only tricky spots is the spike fall segment. The boss is a bit weird though. The guy who made this made a post with the weaknesses of the bosses and this was referred to as "Dragon" though it looks more like a crocodile. Just to keep it simple im gonna call it "Crocochomp". Crocochomp is actually quite a tricky boss. Its also got 2 phases to it. Once you destroy the 4 spike balls in it's throat, he will try and chase you down. If you manage to destroy him in time, you actually get to skip stage 4. However if you dont, you get nommed and have to escape out of him. I wanted to show stage 4 off so i decided to lose.
Stage 4 (aka Crocochomp's insides) also ironicly isnt that hard to get through. If you ask me the only annoying part in it is the spike presses. As for the boss? Its a devil boss......done right!
Blue Devil is one of the few devil bosses in a megaman fangame that i actaully enjoy. He has 3 phases. Phase 1 he is Yellow Devil MK2. If you shoot quickly you can get rid of him in no time. Phase 2 has him take the shape of Mecha Dragon. Do the same thing as the first phase, and you'll be fine. Phase 3 has him take the shape of CWU-01P, and he'll fly around the room. Just watch his movements and you'll be fine.
