Megaman X Mavericks Final is a rpg fangame by maddrex77 set in the Megaman X universe. Included are remastered versions of the first three games and a brand new fourth chapter depicting events that happened after the third game.

Well, it's time to see just what this bonus stage is all about.

First off, weapon skills. Since Alia mentioned that all weapons will have some kind of effective use in this stage, it's a good idea to max out on weapon skills here. Ideally, taking 15 different elements with you is best.

For me, this is what I took with me:

Mavericks 1:

Chameleon Sting
Slash Claw
Magnetic Stone
Bug Assault
Magnet Missile

Mavericks 2:

Ground Hunter
Tornado Blast
Soul Body
Power Stone

Mavericks 3:

Gemini Laser
Mine Crab
Fire Rage
Shark Hook
Thunder Shock
Kelverian Sword

What skills you bring may differ. However, I strongly suggest bringing along Power Stone along with the rest of your kit. Reason being is that it does a very nice amount of damage on any bosses weak to it. Hell, it'll outpace X's Nova Strike in damage should such cases arise.

Now, to the stage. Once you check out the map, you'll see why I had to come in prepared. See all those teleporters on the map in the three seperate rooms? Besides the warps that lead into said rooms, the rest lead to bosses. Who exactly? Refights with all 30 mavericks from the last three games. Not even joking there.

Long story short, those three lasers in front of the shop/save point/map at the start? All 30 mavericks must be destroyed once more before the lasers deactivate and let you go forward to deal with one last boss.

Now, I'd like to only have Zero rely on weapon skills to do good damage. Everyone else has one skill they're going to be spamming throughout the massive boss rush. X has his trusty Nova Strike while Harpuia has Master Sword.

Duo? He gets a new skill I purchased for him in the shop (and didn't use until after I killed my first boss, whoops), Duo Mighty Hand. Damage here is equivalent to Master Sword, maybe a pinch weaker...oh, and hits all enemies. Granted, some enemies will only take 700-800 damage from this, but for the here and now, it gives Duo a reliable way to dish out damage and not have to use weapon skills unless Power Stone is a weakness.

Anyways, after taking the nearby warp by the save/shop/map at the start, you'll see three other teleporters. Top one leads to the Mavericks 1 bosses, left to the 2nd game ones, and right one to the 3rd game critters. This video covers the Mavericks 1 bosses.

The Mavericks 1 bosses are the easiest of the bunch here. Attacks don't do much more than 900-1100+ damage to the team so keeping up via healing items (or even healing skills if you use those. I don't obviously) is easy enough. All refights also dish out 3k exp and 5k zenny per kill. That zenny sounds like quite a bit, but trust me, I'm gonna need it.
