Time to start cracking down on the latest wave of mavericks and it begins with the first of the Stardroids, Mars.

Skill wise, anything claw, stone, slash, hook, or sword related will work the best here. Despite me bringing in six skills, you can get away with bringing in only Magnetic Stone & Kelverian Sword. Slash Claw might be useful too for finishing off the odd enemy here & there.

There is a nice little message from Alia upon reaching the character selection screen. It boils down to this...any enemies wanting to talk trash to X about killing him MIGHT want to have the power to back up that talk. Reason? His ultimate armors are now fully repaired, meaning his traditional way of dealing death via giant lasers of doom or ramming into you hard via the Nova Strike are back in play, no damage immunity shenanigans involved...for now. There's an exception that will be seen much later on. For now though, he's not going to be breaking out those armors.

As for the trek through Mars and his abode, the enemies hit rather hard. 700-900 damage from any one enemy is not out of the question and they get rather durable hp wise. If you're playing a low level game or a solo X game, this would be a very good time to grab that Zero Virus skill from the shop if you can afford it due to its ability to inflict every status ailment in the book on all enemies. Not half bad damage either, though sadly bosses are immune to it, damage & all.

Boss wise, the midboss is against one angry big wheeler that spits out missiles every so often. Also seemed to resist Fefnir's Power Hand skill a fair bit, making my purchase of it during this level a bit of a bust. Magnetic Stone roughs up the vehicle pretty badly.

As for Mars, nothing surprising damage wise honestly, but his hp is a fair bit higher compared to previous bosses, meaning there's likely no more chances for bosses to get stomped quickly like Bifrost or High Max. Like the midboss, Magnetic Stone beats him up pretty good.
