Megaman X Mavericks Final is a rpg fangame by maddrex77 set in the Megaman X universe. Included are remastered versions of the first three games and a brand new fourth chapter depicting events that happened after the third game.

Alrighty, time to charge through the boss doors and confront Sigma.

All seems normal in terms of both sides getting ready to battle, but Sigma then drops a bombshell...he whines about his resurrected form granted to him by his master. Yup, someone revived Sigma and no doubt started this whole party in the first place.

Speaking of Sigma's master, he decides to interrupt over the intercom. Besides having delusions of grandeur thinking Sigma can defeat X, the other thing he mentions is something that's been hinted at throughout the game...he wants Zero for some dark purpose.

In any case, Sigma has two forms here, neither one posing as much threat as he delivered in the last game. Not to say that you won't be healing often cause you will, but there's no trickery involving a healing core or anything of the sort. First form's weakness is Power Stone, second form's is Rising Fire (though X is better off using Nova Strike here as it'll do slightly more damage overall).

After the battle, Sigma's viral form flies off, intending to make it a bad day for Iris. This unlocks the sixth and final stage of the game.

Enemies once again have gotten a bit of an upgrade damage/hp wise (for the most part. Those missile spewing robots got shafted by Sigma here). Nothing nasty though.

At the final save point/map/shop of the game, you see me sell all of my healing supplies except for my Special Tanks which I fill up to max on. Mostly because the final fights are beyond and I don't want to have a screw up result in me using the wrong item when I need healing.

The game comes to its shocking conclusion next time!
