Welcome everybody! To Let's play Meridian Squad 22, part 1 – First impression. Meridian Squad 22 is second game in the franchise of Meridian. In simple world Meridian Squad 22 is a very simple RTS game! Just like the roots of its genres. Mine resources, build power plants, build factories or barracks, build defences, train units, attack and destroy enemies base. However the most interesting part of Meridian squad 22 is that the entire game expect for the sounds, music and voice acting have been made by one man! And they game those look look like a some low quality product! It can easy compare with other good well done by entire teams games. Meridian Squad 22 takes place after the events of Meridian: New world. We are dispatched in the famous squad 22 to check what have happened to the colony on Meridian. Quick we get intercepted by unknown enemies and we are forced to land on the planet surface. Quick we have to take care of incoming attacks so we take control over a small outpost and from here we have to make sure the sector will by secured so we can escape from the enemies. That is in short what is happening in mission 1 of Meridian Squad 22. Today we learn the basic of base building, unit construction and reaching. For that we need to collect canisters that will fuel the reasearch back at our base. We collect Three types of canisters economic for increasing production of resources back at our base. Combat to give us more advance units in Squad 22 and Defence canisters used to make better defence structures along with upgrades for the units. Combat in mission 1 of Meridian Squad 22 is very simple and mostly takes a role of paper, scissor, rock. One type of unit is very effective against other type but is easy beaten by another type while is equal to a third type. Another thing that can easily be notices during the campaign in Meridian Squad 22 is that the cinematic and dialogs can be affected by us. We can choose the dialog options and learn or just jump straight in to action of combat! So let’s see is Meridian Squad 22 and really cool old school RTS ? Is it worthy ? Will it show us something new or unique about the gameplay or will we feel like the part of the story or just watch cutscenes and feel like a side character ?
