Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Subnautica! Season 3, Part 4! Welcome to the PRAWN update! We don’t have the multipurpose room anymore! Yay! The wrecks of the life pods now contain PDS and stuff like compass! Yay!! Aurora have now more exploring! YAY!! But we won’t be doing directly the aurora in todays episode of Subnautica. But the parts of the Aurora wreck and they also received some love from the developers of Subanuitca! Now the wrecks have more rooms, we can explore then deeper then usual! We also can repair electronics inside the wrecks to open up new doors in to new sections of the Wrecks parts. We will need to do so since the fragments for all new items in Subnautica are now located inside the wreck not like they use in older versions of Subnautica outside of the small wrecks parts. Also the Battery charger is now located on the walls of the wrecks! The Battery charger in Subnautica is now an actual item in the wreck, located on the walls of the wreck! That means It can sometimes spawn inside of a crate inside the wreck… Look on the walls and make sure to have the scanner up all the time as You may miss items! The Seamoth parts are now located also inside of the crates in parts, that means no longer location seamoth in Subnautica in the open space of the sea. We need to look for open crates near wrecks or inside the wrecks of the Aurora in order to scan the Seamoth fragments to get the blueprint. Remember how I use to make a base before each recording in Subnautica, a small base with basic power, food source from the large aquaria. One with peepers for good one with airsacks to get water. Now it is not the case since the habitat builder in Subnautica does not longer have the multipurpose rooms in it as default and I do not know where to look for them. Another new thing that I have encountered in the PRAWN update in Subnautica is… large missing of sand sharks. Remember those annoying the hell out sharks, the ones that You could count in hundreds in the Red Grass plateau biome in Subnautica, right now the Biome is empty, there is only larry swimming around and having fun since there is nobody there to attack him. It took me a while to check the entire Wreck in that biome. Remember if You plan to take on the search for the blueprint fragments, take the seaglide You will need it! Along with a supply of batteries as the seaglide will eat battery power like mad! Having a food just in case is welcome but not needed, We don’t venture that far away from our little life pod to worry about lacking food and water. But also takeing additional air tank may be necessary as the air runs out very fast. I did venture in to the wreck with two but I guess having three wont be a bad idea. Along with fins and the radiation protection suit. Also the lead needed to make a radiation suit in Subnautica no longer comes from the fabricator, how it can be found in the same earth chunks as copper and titanium. So just go on full search in the first biome You start the game in and gather them. Then You will just need a little bit of kelp from the Kelp forest and You can make Yourself a suit. Just avoid the Kelp forest in Subnautica that is closer to the damaged Aurora as the radiation can still damage the player.
