Been cleaning up some files on the computer and trying to get some unfinished projects completed and out of the way. This fan trailer project originally started way back in 2016 and was left on hold and forgotten until now.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was personally one of my most anticipated games of all time for me. The trailers from E3 2013 (Sins of the Father), E3 2014 (Nuclear) and E3 2015 (Elegia) painted such a promising picture, which I feel the final game failed to realize in a lot of departments.

The initial talks and marketing for MGSV were promising a dark storyline showing how the former heroes turning into the bad guys, which would have been a natural way of flowing into the original Metal Gear story wise.

Before the game's release, my predictions for the general storyline were:
Following the events of Ground Zeroes, Big Boss falls into coma for 9 years. When he finally awakens, he's still carrying the trauma of MSF Mother Base destruction fresh in his mind, where as Miller has had the same time grief and form Diamond Dogs. Big Boss and Miller join forces once again, but inner conflicts eventually lead to them falling out, Diamond Dogs start to splinter, Big Boss starts recruiting and training child soldiers, eventually leading to forming Outer Heaven.

Through selective editing it's easy to see how you could come to those conclusions. But hey! It is what it is.
