Veealune: The more ignitions you make, the faster the stack flies. Resets on Speeder toggle. Fire Elements do not fall here.

My personal thoughts on Veealune: First there were jellyfish, then ichtyeoids, then octopus, now brachiopods. Plenty of sea life in this game here. Let's get the obvious one of the way first, fire elements do not spawn here, so one less element to worry about. Now the actual meat and bones of the ability: stacks fly faster with each match. I know what the typical player would think on first glance, "uh... isn't that just what the Blast Combo bonus is for?" You'd be right, that is just like the blast combo bonus, *but* Veealune has one little thing that makes this different than the others: toggling the speeder resets this effect. So this is another avatar with a "board control" ability, since you can reset the combo bonus at will. There are two ways you can use this: the first is to attempt a pseudo-shield by toggling the speeder once or twice before the ability makes the stack leave the screen. The second is a more personal favorite strategy, just keep the speeder on and go ham on everything you see. Leaving the speeder on gives the stacks the properties of Rollout from Pokemon, where it starts weak and just gets stronger and stronger as time passes, to the point where each match will be almost as equivalent as Celestorii. This allows Veealune to be a *very* powerful scorer like Celestorii due to one little thing about the scoring system: the Column Clear Bonus. Meteoro has a different meta than Meteos because Meteoro gives more points for clearing stacks than shielding with them. Shielding is still really good and is optimal for survival, but for quick bursts of points, clearing as much as you can tends to yield better results. Because of this, Veealune has some of the highest score potential in 2 minute mode, high up there with the likes of Celestorii and Astraura. In VS mode, attempting the pseudo-shield strat (shown in the first half of the video) is probably your best bet. In single player modes, definitely go with the "rollout" strategy (second half of the video).
