My personal thoughts on Malisax: 2 Minutes of Gameplay is finally back after a month and a half and we're starting out strong! Malisax has one of those simple, but effective gimmicks. You can basically swap any two tiles on the board at any given time in any direction. If you'd played Pokemon Shuffle, the tile movement is similar to that game's feel. As you could expect, this is *dum* powerful, as you can easily set up the board however you want and gain all levels of powerups pretty darn easily. Though complete board control is what I consider a top tier ability (Disordius is a fine example), it's not invincible by any stretch. Since you swap tiles and not actually slide them, single columns can become rather intimidating since you have to be *much* more precise on moving your tiles to get a vertical match to buy time, while with other avatars you can just "panic slide" a tile to get the match. Still, it you're fast and a calm thinker in tough spots, Malisax is definitely a tough avatar to take down. Also that sound set is pure groove material. 🎷
