Once a space mine, the natives of Mekks spun wires like thread to make a constantly evolving mechanized planet.

Mekks has an interesting set of physics. This planet lacks inertia, meaning all stacks rise and fall at the same speed with no acceleration or deceleration. The stacks move at a constant speed with a set height that does not change with consecutive launches. The best way I can describe it is like playing with a piston in Minecraft. With 7 columns (really small) and a somewhat shallow variety in Meteos, the planet can make for a good defensive playstyle if that's your thing, as screenclearing is very unlikely to happen without an accident of some kind. A personal issue I have is something you can witness in this very video, I oftentimes find myself in a position where I run out of matches or there's so few matches that I can't spot them and I'm left waiting for the stack to regenerate, which is risky in higher levels of play. Because of this, there's another planet with similar physics that I enjoy better, despite its stark unpopularity in the fanbase, but we'll get to it when we get to it.
