Metro Last Light {part 16} Trying To Rescue Anna' Ranger Hardcore survival !!!
Let's Play Metro Last Light Redux on the Xbox One S and this is video number 16. All gameplay footage has been captured using the Xbox One's built-in capture feature and recorded directly to a portable HD drive. This video also could be considered a walkthrough of sorts although it's very edit heavy when dying multiple times and it's also full of retries. In this episode we start off in a tunnel full of trash from the water that washed us into this location in the last episode. We start making our way through the tunnel looking for supplies until we very quickly come upon a small room in which there is a ladder attached into the wall that we can climb. We climb the ladder and find we are now in what appears to be a ducked of some description, we crawl our way through the ducked and come to a grate that we can see out of. Down below us in a corridor we hear shouting and can see two guards as well as Anna that is still being held captive from her earlier capture. We can check the clipboard to see what our next objective is but obviously we already have figured out that we will be trying to rescue Anna, and so we get into action. The bulk of this next stage is halls, rooms, corridors and plenty of ladders and walkways making it a truly three-dimensional environment for us to take out the many roaming guards and workers that stand between us and finding Anna. The key to the section is stealth, once you get spotted it is pretty much game over if most of the enemies are still walking around so it's wise to begin taken as many foot soldiers as possible out one by one using your sneak attacks. Not all stealth attacks in this game are actually silent and certain ranged weapons such as the air gun can and will draw enemies that are within a short distance of the intended target even if the target is out of sight from the others. They still seem to be able to hear him get hit and drop to the floor... I am not sure if this is tied to difficulty, and it is more forgiving in the lower difficulties but in Ranger Hardcore Survival which I am playing on others will hear! I found the two best stealth weapons for a section like this are the throwing knives for ranged targets and the knife take down for up close. The throwing knives are effectively silent in all but the odd, rare occasion, you can take out lights at the other end of a room while a guard or worker are working on the thing directly underneath it and almost every time, they will not notice it and your free to continue unseen. So, this has been more of a stealth tips section than a video description lol. To be honest there wasn't much else going on in this episode other than the same location and the same stealth and sneaky combat, so I don't really have an interesting way to explain it. I would do a moment-by-moment explanation as to everything I did but I died so many times again I lost track of where I had been and where I was going lol. Anyway, I really hope you enjoyed this video, and it was somewhat entertaining... I really enjoy making these and playing games I missed out on when I was a bit younger so it's a perfect little hobby for me. If you want to help me with my little hobby, then please consider giving this video a 'LIKE' and check out my 'Metro 2033' playthrough... Its great if I do say so myself lol. If you enjoy a good few of my videos and think you will be watching more in the future, then I would be honoured if you would 'SUBSCRIBE' so you can see every time, I upload fresh content. Well take care everyone and I shall see you hopefully in the next one. CHEERS ALL
