Metro Last Light {part 19} | Spooky Skeletons | Ranger Hardcore survival !!!
Let's Play Metro Last Light Redux and this is video number 19! This is the Xbox One version of the game, and all gameplay footage has been recorded using the Xbox One's built-in capture ability. This episode starts with us traveling with Khan starting from the station base we arrived at last episode, we exit the safety of the station together and make our way into the tunnels once again, of the Metro system. This part of the Metro seems a lot less used from the other parts we have traversed judging by the number of cobwebs everywhere and environmental clutter that looks
to have washed into the tunnels due to large amounts of rain fall. This section is relatively safe from enemies other than a small group of Watchmen that ambush us as the tunnels begin to open out into larger and larger spaces. Another point of note is the amount of water that has become waist deep in a lot of places and it's this bit of environmental story saying that leads me to believe that most of the clutter we see was indeed washed down here via the drainage systems above ground after some heavy rainfall. There is actually quite a lot of environmental story telling going on in this section so viewers keep an eye out for those. As we often experience traveling with spiritual Khan, we once again get a glimpse of the world of Metros paranormal phenomenon. This is in the way of intense visual hallucinations but there is even at one point a pair of skeletons that randomly seem to come to life and start moving around which was a disturbing but fun little moment. During one of the hallucinations, we are sucked under the waist high water and end up appearing on top of the tower from the first game, the one in which Artyom climbed and then launched the missiles from the underground missile base to destroy the 'Dark One's'.. Khan explains to us that if we think of the dark ones hard enough, we can somehow reverse the missile attack or something like that. Khans a strange one lol. We end the hallucination with stalking and then chasing the little dark one from the beginning of the game, but we come back to reality before we are able to actually interact with him. Finally, the episode ends when we and Khan find a powered rail kart that we climb in and set off down the tracks. It comes to a head when a group of enemy soldiers have somehow located us, or we have happened upon them by accident, and they proceed to chase after us while firing their guns. We as Artyom shoot all the enemies that are shooting at us when Khan encourages us to jump to the moving train that has at this point gotten right by our side running along the second set of tracks next to ours. We jump onto the train carriages, and we must now start making our way to the front while guards are waiting for us on every carriage, and they know we are there. That is where the episode ends, the fight down the train carriages will start off the next episode. Anyway, thanks for watching everyone.
