Metro Last Light Redux (part 18) playthrough. This is the Xbox One version of the game, and all gameplay footage was captured using the Xbox One's built-in capture software and recorded straight to a portable Hard Drive. This episode starts in the midst of the flames and carnage as the enemy combatants set fire to the structures around us. We are still tasked with saving Anna due to the lack of Anna saving we managed to do in the last episode... It became obvious very quickly that if we were going to succeed in getting to Anna this time we would need to find as much ammunition
and supplies as we possibly could so that we had what we needed when we came up against the last few shotgun enemies. Searching every nook or cranny we manage to get just enough supplies to take a shot at it again only the number of bullets per person is very low meaning headshots would be crucial. Now, I had a bit of a moron moment in this playthrough as I hadn't realised, I had actually picked up the AK shotgun variant, so I look very silly running around trying to find a shotgun and collect ammunition for a gun I thought I had picked up but hadn't lol. Anyway, we finally manage to do it on this attempt even though it was very hairy and nearly fell apart a multiple number of times! With the flames burning uncontrollably around us causing us to catch fire every now and again we finally and mercifully come to a metal door which we quickly open and find ourselves out of the fires and into a room with the escalators that lead back up towards the surface. Oh, and finally we see Anna too... She has decided to stand in front of an enemy soldier letting him hold onto her from behind and point a gun at her also... Silly Anna!! Well, we quickly deal with this little inconvenience and shoot the dude in the FACE!! Much to Anna's disappointment and irritation... What's with this girl?? DAMN!! I am still bitter about her calling me a rabbit at the start of the game but maybe I will warm to her eventually. So, we get rescued by members of our side and they realise we have contracted some kind of illness and so they carry us to safety. We wake up in a hospital slash quarantine zone where we are awoken by Anna coming to check up on us. Things get a bit steamy, and Anna's clothing becomes a bit too loose for YouTube, but we are just
happy to be alive and apparently romantically involved with Anna... This relationship grew out of nowhere! I thought the lady didn't like me?? What the hell do I know though, I'll go with it game.... for now! We get up and explore the area before seeing Khan who escorts us to the armoury and exchange so we can stock up on more supplies. I have no money and stupidly walk away with two shotguns and around half the number of shells I can carry. This is not going to go well for the next episode, but it will be fun trying and trying lol.
