4th entry in the Metroid series,and the last one chronologically. Samus had returned to the planet SR388 and encountered a new life-form,the X-Parasite. This thing infected Samus,and rapidly multiplied inside her. She was barely saved,thanks to a Metroid Vaccine. Now she's been sent on a mission to the Biologic Research Labs,or BSL,to investigate an explosion. Head for the destination marked on your map,and you'll run into an enemy. Enemies in this game leave behind X-Parasites,which Samus can absorb to refill health and ammo. Afterwards,you'll be sent to the Upper Deck,to collect Missiles from the Data Room. The elevator shuts off after you get them,so use Missiles to escape. Found 2 Missile Expansions and an Energy Tank along this hidden path. After the Energy Tank is a boss. BOSS FIGHT: Arachnus-X. This guy is simple,since it's the first boss. Shoots a crescent beam from it's claws,and can spit out a line of fire and roll at you. Just use the grip ledges to dodge it and blast it,it should die quickly. You'll regain Morph Ball for winning. Found a 3rd Missile Expansion after learning the X have invaded the breeding habitats.
