Boss: Dark Samus
*Two mortal foes face each other once again, one with a ticking time-bomb in her. Dark Samus' attacks are somewhat reminiscent of her attacks from her previous game. She uses a scattershot variant of the Phazon Beam, uses a Phazon shield to protect from Hyper Missiles, deploys Phazon blasts with a homing feature, jumps into the air and sends a current of Phazon towards Samus, jumps in the air and crashes down, creating a Phazon shockwave, and summons Phazon pillars to the arena. As they say, too much of a good thing is bad, so pump her full of Phazon. There are points where she tries to recharge her health by absorbing Phaaze's energy, so disrupt it by blasting her.

With a third of her health depleted, Dark Samus begins utilizing Dark Echoes, Phazon clones capable of using many of the same attacks she uses. When there are two, they unleash a stream of Plama Beam similar to Ghor's attack. When there are three, they enjoy utilizing an attack that has them skirmish around the arena, making it impossible to lock on. They also enjoy a dash attack, which is much powerful if there are more than one. It is somewhat easy to tell which one is the real Dark Samus, as she has a blue visor. However, the X-Ray Visor can make it easy to target her too.
