Continuing my findings from my previous video, here are some more tests.

00:11 Windproof lvl3
By negating the backhop wind pressure, more weapons become viable. Not to mention we can sharpen said weapon during the backhop animation. Somehow breaking the forelegs doesn't feel as helpful now.

00:55 Vaal flinch
The new biggest roadblock to this exploit now is Vaal flinching from getting hit. Vaal has one reaction where it turns its head around in the player's general direction, and is the hardest to avoid. My current setup is to stand somewhat perpendicular to Vaal and shell the other side with the Gunlance. This somehow causes Vaal to look the other way instead when it flinches... mostly anyways.

02:25 Hunting Horn tests
While using the Hunting Horn, somehow I was able to avoid detection from the aforementioned Vaal's flinch animation. It could just be coincidence though. What's weird is that Vaal's belly flop after a roar generates a stronger/different wind pressure from its backhop.

03:32 Delayed loop
I accidentally left some gap in the loop, and Vaal reacted with a roar. This causes Vaal to immediately backhop from wherever it is facing before returning to a roaming state. This could be detrimental depending on where the player is since Vaal always faces the player when it roars.

04:41 A horrible chase
The opening clip from the previous video, the full chase version. One thing to mention here is that Vaal remained non-hostile the entirety of the way. I staggered it midway, and it chose to continue running away. Even after falling asleep and being woken up, it will still remain non-hostile. We could potentially loop this behaviour in its lair.
