By pressing start while scanning, the game locks the action and auto fills the bar without needing the player's further commitment. Somehow if we opt for hint in between the two actions at roughly the same time, the scan and hint dialogues overlap. We can use this trick to skip the long scan dialogues and any decisions that follow. I have no idea whether these decisions will affect progression further in the game though.

The 2 actions in this game, hereby referenced as...
- HINT (L2), which displays text related to current objective.
- SCAN (hold R2), which upon filling the bar will display text related to the object scanned.

The names for these actions are not official, because I don't bother to look them up and I didn't pay attention to the game explaining them to me.

Free for PSPlus for July 2018 in my region. I'm just not the right audience for this game as I was bored senseless within the first 10 minutes. But it's free so I can't complain.
