Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament [Mega Drive, 1994]
1The sequel to Micro Machines had a fascinating custom cartridge which housed two extra controller ports, so that you could connect four controllers to the console without the need for a multi-tap. The physics got a little more sophisticated, the tracks more challenging, and the ridiculous eight player mode which involved two people sharing a controller made this an excellent sequel. The soundtrack certainly takes more advantage of that raucous Yamaha sound chip too!
