First time ever flying the Airbus manually without any autopilot or thrust control help with a modified Madcatz Cyborg Joystick (it has a weakened centering spring for smoother handling without the uncomfortable strong centering-spring resistance all joysticks normally have). It feels awesome to fly with a sidestick - just like real fly-by-wire. Perfect to handle and the landing went very well, the passengers could get out of the plane and right into a car without all these annoying time consuming check-out procedures.
I don`t know the correct checkbook procedures about an Airbus therefore I thought I land the Airbus the same way I land my DCS F-16 but of course a little bit smoother for the extra-plus of comfort. Unfortunately an Airbus seem to have no airbrakes for tighter turns and steeper descends but only spoilers to reduce speed after the landing - that´s why I missed a few feet of runway lenght.
