Microsoft Flight Simulator VR Part 2 // Dialling In SteamVR Performance // RTX 3080 // Valve Index
Now that we're around a month after the launch of the VR mode for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, I decided to go back in and re-test performance. There have been various updates to Nvidia drivers (perhaps not while fpsVR is running however), and we now have new performance tweaking features in SteamVR which might help (I covered these in my previous video here: https://youtu.be/PxLOjti5094).
In this video, I try various settings to see if I can get better performance than when I previously had a quick look at the game on the day of release (spoiler: I get a much better experience now).
