Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Part 40: The Beginnings of Our Army
0So, after freeing the mind of the Queen and finding out where Sauron’s Servants are (The Tower and Black Hand), we then start building our own army that will challenge theirs. Of course, we can’t gather enough men/elves/dwarves to come and fight with us though, so we have to rely on building an army of Orcs by using the Branding technique. This is an open-ended quest in which we get to just run around and try and collect each one. It sounds like a rather easy task to do since there is only five of them (and we even control one of them already) but they make it a little harder by having each WarChief have two or three captains come with them during the fight. I think the only time I’ve ever fought with a WarChief without killing his Captains beforehand was with Takra which made the fight a little harder (I think I took out the Captain while he was there before taking Takra out). I think the fight was harder because I didn’t use the stun attack (since I rarely used it throughout the game since I just assume the vault and stun do the same/similar things) but I didn’t want to take my chances with these “new” WarChief. Now, I’m not sure if you can go after and brand a WarChief without killing/branding his Captains (Fairly sure that each WarChief dies in combat and gets replaced by a Branded Captain).
