0So, after assaulting the door to this base, we finally get inside to find the smuggler (and most of the other robots who are living there) just chilling there. He offers to help us by giving us some sort of bicycle that, as you might expect from this game, uses the SIXAXIS to control. Throughout the R&C series (as the cool kids call the series), the only time we use vehicles is for racing or space/flying missions (the only exception to this was the car that we used once or twice in Up Your Arsenal; You probably thought I forgot about that) so it is a little odd to be using one now. For the most part, I thought it wasn’t too bad but, like most things in this game, it uses the SIXAXIS as I’ve mentioned before and, because of that, it is a little awkward to control. I don’t hate the SIXAXIS but I do think that they do use a little too much within this game since it’s pretty much everywhere and, for the most part, it’s a little awkward to use. I think the only time where I thought it was cool was during the parachuting/free-falling sections; Anywhere else has felt odd (especially in the hacking which we can get to very shortly; another video or two). Regardless of my thought on the SIXAXIS, I wonder how often we will be using this light-bike (I know that isn’t the name for it but, since I don’t know what it’s called off the top of my head and I’m too lazy to google it, I will name it very similar to Tron’s Light-Cycle)
