Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Part 50: Finally Finished That Challenge
0So, after finishing the bridge challenge that I kept failing like a moron, we also complete the other challenge I had some trouble with. If you remember a while ago (probably around the time that we got our Branding ability) there was a mission that required us to get into the compound without killing anyone, then brand seven archers but I kept failing at the branding (oh, and I would always kill like two orcs along the way which also was a problem). I finally found a reasonably okay strategy that somehow worked even though I was very nearly caught doing a branding. Apparently there is actually more to that mission; once you brand them, you then have to order them to kill all of the Orc that are entering the court yard (which explains why you’re supposed to complete it without murdering anyone; your Orc friends are supposed to be the ones get down and dirty). After sneaking around and being as stealthy as I can be, we then say “screw it all” and start a challenge that allows me to literally ‘Run-And-Gun’ through the compound with a sword. We’re told that need to kill three elite Guards (who are just different kinds of enemies; one has a shield, one a spear, not sure about the last one since he took an arrow to the face) as well as killing twenty or so other Orcs that just so happen to be around the area. I do like the combat in this game for the most part so just being able to run in and kill as many Orcs as I can, without being swarmed by a never-ending horde, is always fun.
