Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction Part 30: It’s Mutiny, I Say
So, after ranting about one boss fight in the last video, I get to ramble on about another one in this description which, in case you were wondering, will contain some spoilers. With that being said, lets dive right into this fight. After climbing up through a rather difficult gauntlet (mostly because I was playing like poop), we finally catch up to Captain Slag and demand him to give us back our machine (Which is a really stupid plan since he straight up stole it during the last time we meet up; what makes you think he will suddenly give it up?). He then challenges us to a fight which took me two attempts to do because I didn’t read the notice right at the beginning of the fight that lets you know that you can stop his blue missiles by just destroying them. I’m fairly sure that you have never been able to block incoming attacks with your own bullets (at least not in the free-roaming sections) which is more than likely why I didn’t even think about doing such a thing. Regardless of my own stupidity of missing the message, the actual boss fight is fairly easy once you realize (or read the notice) that you can destroy his missiles since he repeats the same sequences of attacks. It’s not like this fight is anything really special because it feels very much like a boss fight at the Arena; certain areas get covered by something you can’t stand in, several guards will spawn from nowhere to fight you (which I think I got glitched or something because, one the second time around, I only had four people attack me instead of six), an annoying attack needs to be dodge/disjointed. It’s not a bad fight but it’s not exactly special; the previous boss was actually kind of interesting because you could swap between two different areas (being on the ground and then being on the platforms) and the boss actually had two different kinds of attack based on where you were standing (although I found in much easier on the ground than on the railings but I think that might be because I’m more use to fighting on the ground and I think some of the shots kept missing because of the rails). I also want to point out my super professionalism in which I try to plug my controller back into the Playstation in order for my controller not to die mid fight. Good job there, friend; it’s nice to see how prepared you are for these recordings.
