Milia Wars [ミリア戦記] Game Sample - PC/Doujin
Classified as a new ryona game (a game where a female character is usually attacked or tortured by something or someone, usually in a perverted or erotic way), Milia Wars is actually one of a three game (more like mini-game) pack provided by various people through D-Gate and DLsIte, along with "Blank Blood Plus" and "Zanarabi". The triple pack ("Ryonage no Kanzume" or りょなげの缶詰) also came with a complimentary Gallery application which provided various artwork for fans. Milia Wars is the best of the three, with fluid character animations and a fair degree of action. If it was spruced up a bit and extended, it could be a standalone title worth playing and not just a packed-in mini-game. More specifically, the game involves "Vore".
Milia Wars is comprised of one long level full of enemies that want to do semi-erotic things to you, though nothing is particularly over-the-top or requires censorship. Your mission is to defeat the monsters (slimy, slug-like creatures, a few semi-female creatures, and a big worm boss), and you can also find stage items to improve your score. You gain four power-ups, one-ups, and can find hidden stage items to increase your score (there are sixteen in all, can you find them?) and there are also various traps you need to look out for.
The game is moderately challenging (mostly by design) and will likely require a few plays before you can get to the end without losing a continue (all stage items up to where you died become void and your score resets when you lose a credit). This was done because the whole point of this game is to get violated by enemies, who have various death animations for Milia should she get captured (you can watch attacks without losing additional health or watch death sequences until you feel like continuing). The audio/visuals are decent with several destructable objects and an old-school vibe (good for fans of retro games are nostalgic folk) and the game runs at a smooth 40FPS (due to framerate conversion, it's a little less smooth here).
This is a standard video of the game from start to finish; I don't grab everything to save a little time. Enjoy.
