Mind Control? More like MINE CONTROL. (Fire Emblem, GBA) - A Wild Glitch Appears!
700There's an insane glitch in Fire Emblem for the Game Boy Advance that allows you to take control of the entire enemy army. It requires the use of the Mine item, which can only be found in like three places in the entire game.
In this example, I found a Mine in Chapter 13 by visiting the old lady in the nearest village.
But here's how the glitch works: Place the Mine down on a square where an enemy unit will run over it. Once an enemy detonates the mine, RESET your game right as its life bar appears on screen.
Once you're back at the Title Screen, go to the File Select and choose to Resume Chapter. You will load your game right where the enemy unit has stepped on your land mine, but now you will find that you're in control of the enemy army!
There is a TON you can do with this glitch. You can have enemy units walk up and do nothing. You can have them discard their weapons. You can have them fight in the Arena for you. Sometimes you can have units TRADE powerful weapons to other enemy units so that you can steal them or farm them. You can sometimes have enemy units drop their items off with Merlinus!
