Minecraft 1.12 Single player AUTOMATIC RECORD DISC FARM (Osiris season 2 - Striking out E9)
12In this Minecraft 1.12 Single Player episode we build an automatic record disk farm in the modified jungle temple we built a few episodes ago!
Welcome to Osiris season 2 - Striking out, a series where we play Minecraft 1.12 Single Player, currently on snapshot 17w17b! In this episode 9 (E9), we return to the modified jungle temple to build our minecraft 1.12 single player disc farm, a farm deviously designed to spawn creepers, send them into a holding cell, have them being shot by DJ Bony, our resident skeleton, and dropping all the records of minecraft!
The minecraft 1.12 single player record disc farm uses the game mechanic that a creeper, when shot and killed by a skeleton will drop a random record. The minecraft 1.12 single player disc farm has four components: A spawn area that allows only creepers to spawn, a holding cell for the spawned creepers, a holding cell for the named skeleton and finally an afk spot for the player (that's me!). The creeper holding cell in this minecraft 1.12 single player disc farm is situated in between the afk spot and the skeleton, thus allowing the skeleton to see the player and shoot at him, but instead hitting the creeper.
In minecraft there are 12 records or discs. The discs are: Cat, Blocks, Far, Strad, Mellohi, Ward, Chirp, 11, 13, Stall, Mall and Wait (Where are we now?). Some of the records are soundscapes, and some can be rather creepy, while others are just chirpy chip tunes :) It's possible to change the default music of some of the discs with your own!
I plan to use the minecraft 1.12 single player record disc farm quite frequently, and am hoping to get more than one set of each record, so that I can have them all in each of my bases! The minecraft 1.12 single player disc farm I build in this episode is my own design, however I am sure there are many similar ones out there! :)
Season 2 of this Minecraft 1.12 Single Player is very exciting for me! I first decided to strike out around the new year, but was held back by the fact that we would have to haul so much gear. Then the shulker box was added and that proved to be the solution! Minecraft 1.12 Single Player is now changed due to the shulker box, and we can do things that were previously really tedious quite easily.
Minecraft 1.12 is a new update for Minecraft that introduces Parrots, Terracotta blocks, Concrete blocks and Concrete Powder blocks. It will probably have many more features in the future. Minecraft 1.12 Single Player is a variant of Minecraft 1.12 where I play in Survival and alone. It lends itself to creativity and a slightly harder gameplay as I can't take help of other Minecraft 1.12 players. Minecraft 1.12 Single Player is a fun way to play the game though!

This series is a Minecraft 1.12 Single Player series, we play Minecraft 1.12 Single Player currently on the snapshot 17w16b, the latest snapshot of Minecraft 1.12 (the colorful update). The news so far in Minecraft 1.12 the colorful update include Minecraft parrots, Minecraft Terracotta blocks, Minecraft Concrete Powder and Minecraft Concrete, all in all 48 new blocks! The Minecraft 1.12 snapshot 17w17b also have revamped the wool, carpet and banner colours, something I find really really good!
Looking to the future, we will follow along with the Minecraft 1.12 snapshots and Minecraft 1.12 pre releases, as soon as they seem stable enough. We will of course move on to any future versions as well. Minecraft 1.12 is not the end :)
