Minecraft Colosseum - Landscaping (Primecraft SMP E37 - Minecraft 1.11)
8In this Minecraft 1.11 Solo episode on the Primecraft Minecraft 1.11 SMP we finally finish of building the Colosseum!!! We do two massive Minecraft landscaping projects, making natural landscape between the Orcish ravine and the Elven woods, and the Human plains.
The Minecraft Colosseum has been a massive project has taken it's toll on my sanity, so I'm very happy to see it finished :) The Minecraft landscaping is the last piece of the puzzle, and it turned out great!
The landscaping of the Minecraft Colosseum serves to separate the player areas, and to make the environment look nice of course. Players in this Minecraft pvp game are only allowed to walk around the edges of the Colosseum, and on paths leading from each starting area to the centre, where a blood ring is built.

Each starting spot in the Colosseum has to be the same size (roughly), and they each have to have four exits - on in each cardinal direction. The left and right one leads to the opposing teams, while the forward one leads to the Minecraft PVP arena. Each spot has a theme, and inbetween the spots is where we do this episode's landscaping.
For this minecraft colosseum build the minecraft block chart is clay, dirt, coarse dirt, grass, leaves and everything inbetween... Landscaping in minecraft is hard, because it's easy to make things look built rather than natural! In Minecraft making natural landscape is both fun and rewarding though. In this case I also have to transition between vastly different biomes! Mesa, Forest and Plains. The result is quite stunning though, especially from afar :)
