Kaden is not the greatest friend in the world. But Braxton is one of the few people that are actual friends with him and not just some random person you talk to in school due to circumstance. Braxton explains that he isn't sure if the cube changes anything about you. Kaden believes that it only warps your personality, just a little. He makes that claim because Braxton looked like he found a pile of gold when he first reclaimed the cube when it dropped from the air vent. Speaking of which, how did it get up there? Kaden thinks of that question but doesn't bother to ask, Braxton probably wouldn't know.
Handing over the cube, Braxton shows a regretful face. He hasn't even completely given it to him yet. While taking it away, Kaden looks at it which a slightly disgusted face. He isn't sure why he's disgusted, but the cube gives him a.... small, unexplained fearful emotion.
He firmly held the worn, crack, metallic box and peeked inside.
