[Minecraft Development] Learning how to Mod: Changing the Player [EN/GER]
0This is the fifthstream of my journey to Develop a Minecraft Mod.
I want to use my work experience as a developer to learn how to mod Minecraft.
You will see my journey going through the process from the very beginning until we've build a functioning Mod with various features.
I haven't touched Java or really Minecraft in years, so please have patience with me if I don't know some things, there will be most certainly errors and frustration along the way.
I have a couple of ideas, which I want to Test out. It's a quite extensive random list which doesn't follow a theme. It's mostly different functions of the game in order to improve my knowledge about the various aspects of Minecraft.
Feel free to leave suggestions, of what I can try out to mod.
Ideas (No Particular order):
- a God command (Invulnerable, Flying)
- a custom tree
- custom Tools / a multitool
- an enchantment of sorts for Sword an Pickaxe
- a custom animal
- a custom enemy with custom AI
- a machine which uses Power
- a machine which generates Power
- a backpack of sorts
- a custom bed
- a custom crop/ new food items in general
- a custom Minecart
- a custom Liquid
- custom ore
Rules of the Channel:
- Please treat each other with respect.
- If i am playing a game, do not spoil or backseat the game unless I specifically ask for it.
- Do not post or talk about other Social Media Influencers, unless I am directly affiliated with the person or bring up the topic first.
- You are free to chat in either English or German, since these are the two languages I am able to understand on a fluent level. However I will most likely only respond in English myself, for sake of consistency. This list may change in the future as I learn more languages and reaach a proficient level with them.
