In this video I will show you how to stop items from despawning in minecraft so you can show off your most precious items while they rotate on the ground! I also show how to get items the player can't pick up/ how to get items that can't get picked up! This command only works on minecraft java edition version 1.13 and higher, doesn't work on minecraft bedrock edition!
Commands used in the video:
How to stop picking up item: /data modify entity @e[type=item,limit=1,sort=nearest] PickupDelay set value -1
How to pick up the item again: /data modify entity @e[type=item,limit=1,sort=nearest] PickupDelay set value 0
How to keep item from despawning: /data modify entity @e[type=item,limit=1,sort=nearest] Age set value -32769
How to change item despawn time: /data modify entity @e[type=item,limit=1,sort=nearest] Age set value 5960
How to check the age of an item: /data get entity @e[type=item,limit=1,sort=nearest]
