Relax, folks - despite the title, this isn't a drama video. Before season three of the Totally Unoriginal Gaming Show gets underway, here's the second of my irregular opinion pieces (with added Minecraft in the background for extra blocky goodness.)

In it, I air my perspective on the apparent backlash against creators publicising alternate funding methods such as Patreon and Ko-Fi. Where does it come from? Could it be down to a few wrong assumptions being made about the way YouTube deals with its creators when it comes to compensating them for their efforts? And are creators themselves free of blame? Here's my $0.02 on the matter.

QUICK UPDATE ON THIS VIDEO: Since taking it live, I've actually had cause to disallow a couple of comments in moderation. Both were quite rude, but what bothered me more about them was that they were posted by viewers who clearly hadn't watched the second half of the video.

Sorry folks, but I operate a very strict policy with my comments section. You will behave, or your comments will get stamped on. And if you post an angry rant claiming that I haven't addressed something when I actually have, and you just couldn't be bothered to watch that far into the video, I'm not allowing your comment. Because you wouldn't want to look stupid in front of the folks who watched the whole thing, would you?
