HdE'S TOTALLY UNORIGINAL GAMING SHOW S03, E06
SUPER BREAD BOX REVIEW FOR COMMODORE 64.

Remember Super Crate Box, by Vlambeer? The indie single screen platform shooter where you pick up boxes, shoot things and die a lot? Well, I was originally going to review the Nintendo Switch version of it, which came out in 2019. But then I found out about Paul Koller's Commodore 64 de-make.

This game is designed to run either on original C64 hardware (you can even find copies on cartridge!) or within an emulator. And just like the game it's modelled after, it features a compelling, progression based gameplay loop, as well as unlockable stages, weapons and characters. It's also loads of fun!
