Minecraft Nearly Sequential Lighting System
This is a lighting system that I put together haver seeing what Mr. Mumbo was doing in his 'Evil Lab' build. ( https://www.youtube.com/user/ThatMumboJumbo ).
This system turn on redstone lamps one at a time, in a nearly sequential manner, except that ther are 'groups' of lamps 29 block long. Each group turns on from the center outwards, and when one group is fully on, the next group starts coming on.
The system can be controlled by a single lever, and turns on all the light, or turns them all off, or it can be controlled with two buttons. Using two buttons allows you to control how many lights come on, turning on 4 more lights in each group with each press. This allows you 'dimmer control' to control how bright the room is.
The base of this build is a version of Dico the Redstoner's 'Signal Strength Counter' ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEVPYRpvZUw ). This is what allows the lights to come on in order (as the output strength increases), and allows the push button operation to just turn on a few lights per press.
