Minecraft Talk 11 - Hidden Lights
7Lighting up your base is important to keep the mobs from spawning and ruining your day. I'm not a fan of putting torches on the ground, so I love to hide my lights as much as possible. I show how to do this in vanilla Minecraft, and I show off two mods that I like for invisible lights.
The sawmill from Mariculture is a very cheap way of making light source blocks that are the same as blocks you place. I use these custom lights all over the place in my builds.
And recently, Verlena on the Nemasauce server pointed me to the InvisibLights mod, and I have fallen in love with it! With a cost of two glowstone dust for each light, I can toss invisible lights all over the place. And I have.
