Learn how to make a Minecraft torch with this gameplay tutorial.

Okay, so now I'm going to show you how to make a redstone torch. Same as with a regular torch, you're just going to put a stick and then, on top, instead of coal, you're going to put redstone. So, I'll just put one here. Actually, let's put a couple more and this is going to power all your redstone inventions, if you decide to play around with that. You can see here's one. I have a powered rail here for my mine cart and then, when I take the redstone off, that's going to get depowered. My mine cart's not going to go on there. Click it on there and it glows nice and red and that's about it.

That's all there is to redstone. Over here, you can see I have a switch, which goes to some dynamite and this is redstone. And all you have to do is just lay them down next to each other and, instead of the switch, I can just put a piece of redstone there and it will light it up. And that's it.
