Here's a little Mario game I found on one of my old CDs and I thought you guys might like to see it. I doubt it has anything to do with Nintendo, and no other company is mentioned anywhere, so it's most likely an unlicensed game. It's also very short - 6 levels in total ! For a Mario game, that is pathetic ! Once you finish the last level, the game starts again from the beginning, but everything moves faster, including Mario, so it becomes somewhat more intense. There are no bosses either, which further reduces the replay value. If you remember how challenging the original NES version was, this is a minigame at most compared to that one. That's not to say the game is bad, it just feels like it wasn't finished. You could replace Mario and Luigi with any characters, change the title and it wouldn't make any difference. I guess it came out somewhere in the very early ages of the DOS, when a company wanted to be the first to port a Mario game on a home computer, so they just patched this one together, inserted Mario and Luigi in the title, and there you go : it's a Mario game on the DOS. That's my only explanation as to why this game even exists the way it is ! You may play it just for the sake of it, but once you beat it once, you won't feel any accomplishment.
