Just a small thing I found pretty interesting. Sorry for the quiet volume.

Basically, in MK: Deception there's a one-frame time window for Player 2 to kick the opponent into a death trap or a transition right as round time runs out. This causes very destructive, glitchy results elsewhere (showing of which I'll save for the TAS), but in Chess Kombat there's an unique effect of its own.

Well, the first clip is not that special. It basically shows the happy winner being impaled by the Pit spike, then the Kombat continuing as if nothing had happened.

The second clip is the same thing, with a different timing. The round end announcement doesn't come until the Leader hits the bottom, and then the announcer says something pretty nonsensical: "Checkmate. Player one takes the Leader." Ahem, excuse me? It's not a checkmate, since the game continues afterwards (although Leader only has a sliver of health left). Also, player one IS the Leader, so... how does that work?
