MMBN6 (Legacy Collection Vol 2) Quality of Life Item Patch Cards - Django (Boktai), Money, Bug Frags
This is so crazy to learn as I celebrate the ps4 version of megaman battle network legacy collection on sale physically and digitally (switch got on sale later than playstation).
Megaman battle network 5 and 6 (not you 4) have item patch cards to make the money end of things very obtainable. the easier unlockers and purchases justifies the sale price ($30 for vol 2, 1-3 lack any patch cards, or physical $47) for this collection.
Similar to Ninja Jajamaru, I found amazing things that weren't marketed nor reviewed well. The bugfrags help a ton as well.
You can load up Django from character cards to get the gun del sol (with 200 more hp) that I used vs mettaur in the thumbnail. Bass is also viable. Someone uploaded a vid of readded boktai side quest: https://youtu.be/EYBRy7TOnMA?si=Bd-UkoWDa42wamEz
I have no idea why they didn't do sol cross/bass cross in MMBN5 but go a game up and they're only skins. MMBN5 does have item cards as well, so more reason to just skip tournament repetitive 4 and vol 1.
Buster max is really boring imo, to basically one shot most enemies and easily kill bosses. The customization I discovered lets me forgive the bad font/translations in older games and no random encounters/tutorial skip. However, with more money, you can buy sneakrun subchips from the beginning to lessen encounters (someone said adding hp helps if you still have them), so this helps greatly.
Given I can make more money/forms to start, and skip cutscenes should I switch versions, it greatly enhances the games. I am glad I can upload and give anyone skeptical some very helpful info (and this includes art and sound with megaman at the title screen saying a few things, with patches for subtitles in other languages). It also helps to have Zero once you gain enough hp/stronger chips as Django gets obsolete with a stronger buster. The swords and fast gauge even offset a slow gauge patch chip inserted before.
I would say you can balance online by just playing as a starter (and a few patch cards that aren't too powerful like hp + 700). Having both gregar and falzar versions is kind of like having 2 save files as well, so anyone can do this with the one they didn't play. There also was a lot of stuff patched, from bugs to quicker online battles.
At the end of the vid I show some uncensored names that their disclaimer had and creepy roll fan service (sleeping with herself lol).
