Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - A Physics Fan's Toolbox
After devoting a few hours to finding the temple of time again, I picked up a ton of ideas.
You can fuse with enemies if eligible, like the Flux construct has a sturdy block hammer, while fighting, and drops a flux core 1 pounder, which gives a crazy boost to a fused weapon. He could also kill me in 1 hit, so autosave really helps (and saving before dungeons or once you're clear about the next area).
I even got lost until I found I could dive into "safe" water (I guess link just needs water regardless of height) but it beats being permanently stuck to die of fall damage or boredom.
I made a korok friend, set a hook on a mine cart to offset the gap, found a busted tunic and used a 2 log fan (make sure on switch faces you to move when hitting with a zonaite fused weapon) horizontally to have it move forward instead of circles. I didn't record it in time, but I was able to make a freezing jelly arrow, and the bat eyes make homing.
There is a steep learning curve (fusing zonai charges to weapons or attaching logs with ultrahand and stacking floating platforms if something is too high to climb is crazy too).
The physical price drop from $70 to $55 is way better than the bs voucher (which yeah, if you wasted on this for release day, just get mario wonder as rpg lacks new features) and having a day to devote to salvage getting lost make this fun. The frame rate also improved with patches and nintendo news gives you items for booting the game from there, which is unique.
