This was unreal and took me years to figure out because mimes are fragile and have no equipment/abilities to customize (primarily innate brawler for high unarmed attacks that don't miss with concentration, and high bravery to increase unarmed/katana attacks as beastmaster undermines itself as they can't copy monster abilities).

They can use magic and items on themselves to copy a character who has done the same. For attacks, it has to be copied from their direction/point of view (Luso shot 3 tiles in front, similar to Agrias with mimic darlavon, which was hilarious that sleep worked on a boss).

They can copy basic classes, including dark knights (not holy knights/bonus Ramza/Luso squire abilities like tailwind), except other mimes, but are arduous to unlock (shame no new game plus that has this, dark knight and level 1 Cloud with materia blade unlocked).

The mime can be exploited with quick (wall sucks) to instantly get extra turns, basic attacks (arithmeticks, swiftness for holy or knight/onion swords copied is overkill, though you can't dual wield) and movement, with revivals (even throw items phoenix down) as life insurance for counter, with the mime copying at resolution, so you could daisy chain if people are far enough apart. The mime can even copy an attack the first quickened character does as it is copied by resolution.

Iaido, elemental guns, speechcraft (I didn't do geomancy in vid as Argath can critical recover hp by reaction to fully heal when nearly dead and drain hp by attacking, so you need speed and high damage once he lost half hp) from vid and more can work well.

I doubt I will have new ideas (dragoon's jump is power crept here by instant moves and weapons stronger than spears with dual wield or doublehand boosts, though mime could copy bard/dancer for swiftness nameless de/buffs), but fortunately modding communities help compare notes.

I didn't have enough time in vid to learn ultima, but it's not worth the effort (too weak, not instant and crap formula).

These are sudden death matches (you win by going first to 1 shot, with chapter 4 Orlandeau being easiest with haste on Excalibur) with Elmdor's assassins by blue magic copying style with Ramza/Luso default jobs.

Luso can learn ultima (as a game hunter) in war of the lions by small chance if they cast it in chapter 3, as he has shout. Ramza cannot as he doesn't have this as a squiee until chapter 4, and Elmdor cannot have his masamune/genji gear stolen in this version.

I suppose stealing rare equipment (you can't invite boss type enemies but stall and mimic darlavon apparently work). Unfortunately, Argath is a death knight (not in original fft like luso and Balthier) but does not have the fell sword in description (which could help marach and dark knights for low faith). He has a runeblade.
