Mobile Suit Gundam Federation VS. Zeon DX (Dreamcast, 2002)
Part six of twelve of my 12 days of Playthrough series.
In part 6, I show you another Gundam game and this is a game I do not own, but I burned a disc to it. This game was originally an arcade game developed by Capcom if you can believe it (yeah! A Gundam game developed by Capcom!) and published by Banpresto in 2001. This game came home on the Playstation 2 first and the Dreamcast later in spring 2002. This is an action game where you have to destroy the opposing team called the Zeon Federation while you are the Earth Federation kickin' metal ass and claiming your victory. This game does control rather well, but it takes some time to get used to tho. The frame rate does stop every few seconds but I don't know why. And to be honest, I think this game is kinda fun and better than Gundam 0079: Rise from the Ashes that came out on this very same system at an earlier date. I couldn't figure out how to play it. Don't be afraid to try this game out, give it a go, you may like it, or maybe not. For what I have seen, Gundam games have a mixed track record, some are good, some are great and others, well not so good. Now, I don't expect every Gundam game to be perfect or even good and I don't plan on playing every single Gundam game in my life, neither are you. 'Nuff said.
