On this day half a decade ago, the massively popular Nintendo Switch saw release. Needless to say the console-handheld hybrid successor to the Wii U has become a huge commercial and critical success since then, what with having best-selling titles such as 'Super Mario Odyssey', 'Super Smash Bros. Ultimate', 'Pokémon Sword and Shield', 'Animal Crossing: New Horizons' and 'Mario Kart 8 Deluxe' under its ever-expanding belt.

I got myself a Switch sometime back in the middle of 2017, and suffice to say I've played a whole bunch of games on that system, some of which would become all-time favorites of mine. Whether it's getting me into IPs like 'Fire Emblem' and 'Xenoblade Chronicles' or Joy-Cons not working like they're supposed to on sporadic occasions, there's no doubt that I've experienced a whole bunch of ups and downs with my Switch.

Now here's one of the most iconic Nintendo characters in recent history battling some character mods... (Also, you may have noticed that Rex is missing this time around. Does that affect anything gameplay-wise? Not really.)


This is a free-for-all stock battle between Pyra (P1), Lora from 'Xenoblade Chronicles 2' over Lucina (CPU), Poppi QTπ/Poppi QT from 'Xenoblade Chronicles 2' over Mythra/Pyra (CPU), Morag from 'Xenoblade Chronicles 2' over Byleth (CPU) and Nia from 'Xenoblade Chronicles 2' over Sheik (CPU).
