MongoDB ransonware is Preventable
The MongoDB ransomware problem is more widespread than first reported, but the good news is that the problem can be prevented by following proper MongoDB security practices when setting it up. It's also worth pointing out that MongoDB is a cross-platform service, so this problem can impact on Linux server security, Windows server security, MacOS server security, and Solaris server security.
