After you get the Root Beer from the Cannibals from the Village, when you head back to the ship and speak with the Ghost Pirate there will be two possible outcomes. Depending on whether you destroyed the ship or not with the rock catapult earlier on, either Guybrush's Crew or Herman Toothrot will show up to take Guybrush back to Melee. If you destroyed the ship it will be Herman, if you didn't it will be Otis, Carla and Meathook.
