Monkey Island - The Secret of Monkey Island - Walkthrough Part 3
000:00 - Hopefully you have a copy of the combination to the safe. With the Storekeeper away click on the safe. Select either Pull to move the handle to the left and Push to move it to the right and copy the order the Shopkeeper used earlier. Guybrush will pick up the Credit Note.
01:18 - Exit the shop and head back to the map screen. Head back to Stan's and speak with him again.
04:20 - Ask to see the cheap ship again. Then say you have credit from the storekeeper. Next say "Let's talk extras" When Stan goes through all of the extras get Guybrush to say "I think I can live without that" to each of them. When he starts to repeat himself say enough about extras. We will have brought the price down to 7300. Still a bit too high so tell Stan "Forget it" then "Maybe you're right" Now make the offer of 5000 and he will accept it.
12:05 - Go back to the Village and Stan will be waiting for you. Speak with the crew, now we are ready to set sail.
16:23 - Pick up the Feather Pen and the Ink on the desk and then open the drawer on the left hand side. Look at it to find an old dusty book. Open the inventory and use the book to read it. Now head out onto the deck.
18:57 - Click on the Rope Ladder to get to the Crow's Nest and pick up the Jolly Rodger then climb back down.
19:38 - Click on the Hatch on the floor of the main deck.Then click on the hatch here to head down another level. Pick up the Rope at the barrel at the bottom. Open the barrel to the left of the screen with the xxx on it to pick up some Gunpowder. Finally open the chest at the bottom of the screen and pick up the Wine.
21:30 - Go up the ladders and head through the door at the top to get to the kitchen area. Open the cupboard and pick up a box of Cereal. Open the inventory and open the cereal to get a Toy Prize. Then open the Toy Prize to find a Key.
22:55 - Take the ladder upstairs and head back up to the main deck. Go through the door to the Captain's Room again. Use the Small Key from inventory on the Cabinet. Open the chest inside and then look inside to find a Recipe and some Cinammon Sticks. Open the inventory and look at the Recipe.
24:30 - Head back to the Kitchen area. Pick up the Pot on the table. Use the Cinammon Sticks, Breath Mints, Jolly Rodger, Ink, Fine Wine, Rubber Chicken, Cereal and the Gunpowder on the Cooking Pot.
26:50 - Click on something in the kitchen to get Guybrush up and head of the kitchen. Take the ladder down to the hold and pick up some more Gunpowder then go to the main deck to see we have arrived at Monkey Island. Go to the kitchen and use the Map on the Red Hot Fire underneath the Cooking Pot.
29:15 - Go to the main deck and use the Gunpowder on the Cannon Nozzle. Use the Rope on the Cannon to create a fuse. Use the Flaming Mass on the Fuse then very quickly use the Pot on the Cannon Nozzle to be fired onto Monkey Island.
31:15 - Pick up the Banana then walk to the Jungle. Walk to the west of the island until the screen changes and click on the Fort area. Pick up the Spyglass on the ground and speak with Herman Toothrot. Push the Cannon and pick up the Cannon Ball and the Rope. Head back to the map screen.
36:23 -Head back to the southen area of the map then head east. At this section of the map click on the River Fork. Pick up the Rock on top of note. Then click on the footholes in the rockface to climb up.
38:08 - Use the Spyglass and Guybrush will see he can see the ship, this means if you use the rock catapult in this position it will hit the ship. Pull the Primitive Art twice then use the Spyglass and Guybrush should say he can see the big banana tree on the beach. Use the footholds in the cliff side to climb up and Push the rock at the edge of the cliff to knock it onto the catapult below. Speak with Herman about everything then head back to the map screen.
45:43 - Head to the southern part of the map and go to the beach. Pick up the two Bananas that have fallen to the ground. Head back to the eastern part of the map and to the River Fork again. Use the Gunpowder on the Dam then use the Flint on the Canon Ball to blow it up.
47:02 - Click on the newly created Pond. Pick up the Rope beside the skeleton and head back to the jungle. Head to the south and go to the Crack area. Use one of the Ropes with the Strong Branch then the second Rope on the Sturdy Stump and pick up the Oars at the bottom. Head back to the map.
49:30 - Click on the Beach here and use the Oars on the Rowboat. Row east to the next screen and north to the next. Click on the beach and then head to the jungle then to the village. Walk to the left and pick up the Bananas from the bowl of fruit on the ground. Head to the right to be caught and locked up.
53:16 - Pick up the Skull on the ground then use the loose board and click on the hole to escape. Go back to the beach and use the rowboat again. Head to the south and then south again and click on the beach. Walk to the jungle and click on the Monkey in this area.
